Who is?
Welcome to my little home on the interwebs.
My name is Melanie May and I’m a web developer / animator / graphic designer / video game developer / software engineer / photographer / database guru / mom / –fill-in-the-blank– located in Southern California. I am mom to three kids (ranging from age 1 to age 9) and two dogs (both age 1) and the CEO of a small internet marketing and web development firm. Needless to say, I stay pretty busy.

I love to travel. I’d like to see (most of) the world. I was born in Germany, raised in the United States, and I’ve traveled to Mexico, Spain, France, Italy, and Monte Carlo. I’m most looking forward to visiting Greece, Australia, and New Zealand – someday. My favorite weekend getaway is Las Vegas. It’s only a three hour drive across the desert.
I grew up in North Carolina. I lived in Hope Mills and Fayetteville from the time I was 6 months old until the summer of 1992. We moved to Elizabeth City, a small town not far from the Outer Banks, where I lived until 1999. That’s when I made my way to California. I’ve lived in both Ventura and Los Angeles counties – but I’ve traveled as far north as San Francisco and as far south as Tijuana.
I have the most amazing – and wonderful – kids in the world. They are my pride and joy, and the proverbial “lights of my eye.”
